is there anything i should know or should look out for with my '02 truck?? just picked it up used and would like to at least prepare or expect if something is going to break or go bad.

I would suggest doing the "plastic baggy test" (see the thread about "wax for a green escalade") then Claying, polishing and waxing it. Since more then likely the dealership only wax'd it (if that).

How many miles does it have on it Tdogg? I suggest parking it on a very clean surface and if there are any leaks get them fixed pronto! I neglected mine and now its out of warranty with leaks everywhere. Also, if you notice any strange clunks when leaving a stoplight its likely the driveshaft yoke. I have a friend that has an 03' and has already had his replaced with 20K miles.

it has about 47,000 miles on it and it's cadillac certified used, so i have a bumper to bumper warranty for 4 more years or 53,000 miles. so i'm not too worried yet. hopefully i'll work all the bugs out in that time.
