So I think I'm probably going with the GOOYEAR Asymmetricals and I want to go staggerred (255's front ; 265's rear.) Aside from the rotation issue why should I or shouldn't I go staggerre??? Thanks in advance guys!!!

I think that by changing tire sizes and especially staggering sizes, you mess up all the work Caddy did tuning this cars suspension. Bigger tires out back will certainly produce more understeer. I guess you have to decide whats important to you, awesome handling or big tire looks. I just replaced my F-1's with Bridgestone RE01-R's in stock size, and did the Cadillac FAQ alignment specs and it feels awesome with incredible traction, and very neutral handling.
Don't get me wrong, I would love larger tires and a staggered size setup, the V2 will have that, but I won't sacrifice handling for looks. Maybe someone else can chime in on adjustments to suspension to make the bigger sizes handle like stock.

Going from 255 to 265, there really may not be enough appreciable gain in contact patch and straight forward traction to offset both the loss you might feel in handling and the inability to rotate. And it really won't look staggered much either.
The only reason one might wanna go staggered is that he or she wants the staggered look or wants better traction. In this case, you really won't see too much of either.
I would either stick with 255s or 265s all around. Mind you, the 265s will be tight. It has been done, though. Just don't go full lock, unless you're really crawling.

I staggered my Cobra with very wide tires in the rear that looked awesome. Unless your on a track racing I didn't notice any type of "handling loss". I'm considering going wider myself on the V. I will probably update the wheels to match the wider rear tires. 265's aren't that wide...should look good.

whats the consensuss on tire prefereances on 20's with a stock height V, .. I realize tire height would become an issue with certain tires, and especially if I eventually lower the car?!?
