View Full Version : Soon to re-enter the world of R... W... D... My_favorite_Brougham 04-05-08, 12:23 PM So I haven't actually made a thread in a while, since I haven't got an RWD to talk about. But that's all gonna change for the summer. I'm unloading my Coupe Deville, since it's tax season. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6146&viewitem=&item=180230586645&_trksid=p3907.m29) And I'm taking a trip out to Cali this summer, so I'll make sure I have a nice Brougham by then.
So I've had my eye on quite a few RWDs lately. I've kinda gotten the bug the 95/96 Fleets, as they look like good highway cruisers. I'd really like a gold '96 FWB. I've also been eyeing this 86/87 Brougham (http://dallas.craigslist.org/car/626772953.html), but it doesn't have a title. So I'd have to ackle that issue. (any tips Anthony?! :highfive:) But for that price, you can't beat the options. And I could switch the motor out with my junk wagon's motor with apparently has larger ports, more aggressive cam, etc. Besides, I know it well enough to know it has another 100k in it (115k currently). All I'd have to do is get a paint job! And I've kinda gotten used to the fifth wheel idea, maybe one would look good on a triple-black Brougham? It comes with one! But I dunno.
But ever since I sold my '90 Brougham, I've always wanted another like it. I got really accustomed to the '90 body style, and hope I don't find the 80's style (trim, cluster, radio, etc.) too uncomfortable. I really did like the driver recline feature. But we'll see as time goes on.
I might be towing a pop-up camper to Cali (family trip to DisneyLand), so with the 307 ('83 Olds) pull mid-size pop-up very well? My goal would be for a 350 '92, but that triple-black one above sure does look nice. And can the non-tow package (electric fan) 95/96s tow anything? I mean, I really don't want to add unintended strain to my transmission. (I baby all my cars.)
Anyway, 'thought I'd let yall know that I am going out with the FWD, and coming back with the RWD.
Greg Cadillacboy 04-05-08, 01:08 PM Great news !
 Since you're used to driving RWD cars I think '95/96 is a perfect choice for ya ;) . You will like the LT1 as well
:yup: I~LUV~Caddys8792 04-05-08, 01:10 PM Personally, I'd hold out for atleast a '90. In my opinion (and I know, it's just an opinion), the '80s models feel too old, especially when you're behind the wheel. This is due to the tiny little horizontal speedometer, the non reclining seats, and even the look of the wood grain trim. When they added the digital dash, reclining seats and changed the wood grain trim in '90, it really made the interior feel more modern. Not to mention the addition of the single headlights and FUEL INJECTION! LOL! Even though that wasn't made standard across the board until 1991, you could still get it in 1990. Cadillacboy 04-05-08, 01:41 PM I don't like composite headlights for '90-92's but overall I find them more modern over '80-89's too .For all '80-92's I think the best choice should be '92 as well as most reliable bicentennialcadillac 04-05-08, 02:58 PM I like the old school speedo and such.
I'd do '75-'81 or '90-'92. If FI is a big deal to you, you can find it in those years.
As you well know, these cars are as reliable as you want them to be ($$$ and effort.) I'd drive my '79 to California any day. My_favorite_Brougham 04-05-08, 05:27 PM Yeah 90-92 Broughams are pretty nice, but sometimes I actually like the vintage feel of older cars. (I like the '83 Olds) I just like to switch back and forth, but I'll have to take this one Caddy at a time. ;) I~LUV~Caddys8792 04-05-08, 06:58 PM If you're gonna go old, I'd try and find a Coupe D-Body with the 368. I think they were EFI for both '80 and '81. My_favorite_Brougham 04-05-08, 07:02 PM Eh, I've had this coupe for a while, and I just want a sedan now. There's something about it.. coupes always just "seem" smaller, less spacious on the inside. My_favorite_Brougham 04-05-08, 07:09 PM Oh, and is 151,000 miles very much for a '96 Fleet with the LT1? I saw one not too long ago in beautiful shape, but those miles! I think it was an "everything original" too. So should I be worried about clumps of repairs at upcoming intervals?
Here it is:
http://internetautobiz.net/images/96_FLEETWOOD_BROUGHAM/DSC04703.jpg hueterm 04-05-08, 10:52 PM Maybe the tranny and misc stuff -- engine should be fine. I~LUV~Caddys8792 04-06-08, 12:10 PM 151,000 is fine for an LT-1. If it's been taken care of (like that one seems to be) you shouldn't have any major issues at that mileage. 96Fleetwood 04-06-08, 07:40 PM You can find some decent '94-96 Fleetwoods with under 100K miles for under $5K.
My LT1 '95 Roadmaster wagon has 117K miles on it and it runs like a champ. It feels barely broken in.. then again I did do some major maintenance work when I first bought it.
My brother might be selling his White 1992 Brougham d'Elegance with the 5.7 liter. It has 133K miles on it. Old Fleetwood 04-06-08, 10:04 PM I probably got my favorite Brougham's car back in the spring of 2006 when I bought it out of Plano TX, except that it was Dark Adriatic Blue and not Gold.
Anyhow, at just over 90k miles, the 1995 FWB ran perfectly but I had a Carolina Performance StageII 4L60E Transmission installed to tow our 1,800 lb. PopUp RV (Viking 2107, Saga).
The Cadillac doesn't even know that RV is back there!
Acceleration is only moderately degraded.
Braking is likewise only a little off, but like anything else, slippery conditions require more caution and the PopUp is a pleasure in crosswinds when others are having hell to pay with high sail areas on their tall vehicles.
One caveat: We have NOT taken trips exceeding 200 miles yet for various reasons but hope to this year.
As far as a Road Cruiser: We ended up virtually commuting from Hartford, CT to Walpole, MA, ~110 miles 1-way, for eye surgery and follow ups on one of our dogs at Tufts University Vet hospital every other week.
The Cadillac made the trips a total pleasure. No wonder the elderly set loves them. We might as well have been in our living room. No strain, no pain. Yet, when needed, the Brougham will pick up her skirts and MOVE!
You might remember my post, back a ways, about the drugged up trucker we avoided, when I floored it and found my limiter was busted and we saw not the expected 108 on the digital dash but 122 (!).
Yet, even then, the Fleetwood handled as if nothing was wrong and settled down to respectable speeds with nary a flutter without me needing a change of skivvies.
So, go find that gold one and GO FOR IT! My_favorite_Brougham 04-06-08, 10:26 PM Yeah I like that gold one, but that triple black one really has some class! I dunno, I don't like to buy one car before getting settled into one. That '96 would need a new driver seat/center armrest and possibly a new wheel. Anyone know how difficult it would be to find a good condition driver seat in that color? And a wheel for that matter? I wouldn't want to spend an insane amount, though, ya know.

Greg That is a twin to mine! Mine's just a 94...
Oh, and is 151,000 miles very much for a '96 Fleet with the LT1? I saw one not too long ago in beautiful shape, but those miles! I think it was an "everything original" too. So should I be worried about clumps of repairs at upcoming intervals?
Here it is:
http://internetautobiz.net/images/96_FLEETWOOD_BROUGHAM/DSC04703.jpg My_favorite_Brougham 04-07-08, 09:24 PM So I'm actually getting the ball rolling on this triple black '86 Fleetwood. I just can't pass it up at only $500. The cosmetics of it are wonderful, less a paint job which I would invest in. But the engine is what's bad. It has a blown head gasket and a bad transmission. But it IS a triple-black d'Elegance with a factory Astroroof and original wire wheels.
AND.. I have the perfect donor car. I foosishly dumped tons of money into an '83 Olds Delta 88 Wagon. It runs wonderfully but is complete junk cosmetically. I spent $1200 on a BRAND NEW a/c system, replacing every part. I know, stupid. But now I've learned, since I've been ripped. But my idea is to take this nice Fleet and drop my motor and tranny in it and put my good a/c components in it. To my understanding everything should crossover like taking it out, and putting it right back in. Right?
I assume I can just remove the '83 Delta 307 and put it in the '86 Fleet. And the same for the a/c. I think this would work out good since I need to unload the wagon, but can't get more than $500 for it in the condition even though I've spent $2500 on it. :bang2: This way I can fix a nice Caddy. Does this sound feasible? I mean, will I just take everything out of one and put it in another, or will I need funky conversions or new parts. I'm just trying to be cost effective.

to bad you werent closer to Anthonys Cadillac Ranch.... Plenty of parts. Old Fleetwood 04-07-08, 11:34 PM "EYE"
> If everything will actually fit, why not? Money-wise, you're already screwed, blued, and tattoed. But you have a good-running drive line and A/C system that should be transferrable.
> If -again IF -everything goes as planned, you will have a vehicle YOU DAMN WELL WANT!
> Anybody who nit-picks your decision simply doesn't understand what the hell it is that YOU WANT and should get off YOUR case.
Like when I got my 1960 Mercedes 220Sb back in 1964 for the same price as a new Corvair (!). A lot of people said "What do you want with a "furrin car?"
My answer was "What's it 2 ya?" I simply wanted it and I got it. Also I kept it until 2001, by the way.
> I also suspect you'll have some fun making the parts switch. While doing so, you'll get pretty intimate with your new girl. Yeah, been there, done that. Too old now. You're not. Enjoy it. Wallow in it!:bouncy: My_favorite_Brougham 04-07-08, 11:48 PM "Aye" ...for the third variety! lol
The one thing that scares me is there's no title. The guy says his friend got it from an estate sale, and the owner had long since lost the title. Then he bought it from his friend, and never tagged/titled it. Now he's putting it up for sale. Texas law is pretty strict when it comes to lost titles, and such, so... I dunno, maybe not. he did mention some electrical issues.
Greg My_favorite_Brougham 04-08-08, 09:03 PM Well... no go on that triple black Fleetwood. I was previously going by the over-the-phone description of the car, but in person it's JUNK!! The wire wheels are so rusted and missing spokes that they're a hazard. The seats look like they've been in a blender, the dash is basically gone, and EVERY body panel is crooked. Not to mention missing emblems/chrome, and the remaining was history. That and no title, so it looks like that's goin' to the crusher.
Oh well, at least I can focus my resources on a good RWD that won't need a restoration. I'm gonna hunt down that gold '96 if I can.
Cheers
Greg bicentennialcadillac 04-08-08, 09:13 PM All's well that ends well. In this case, the Olds lives. I~LUV~Caddys8792 04-08-08, 09:14 PM Yeah, those pictures looked old and the only reason a Brougham in that condition, with that color combo would have been priced at $500 would be if it was stolen. 96Fleetwood 04-08-08, 09:48 PM You missed out on this deal:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nice-1995-Cadillac-Fleetwood-Brougham-w-Low-Mileage_W0QQitemZ260228419351QQihZ016QQcategoryZ61 49QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Old Fleetwood 04-08-08, 09:54 PM Some years ago I bought a '67 Pontiac GTO that had been stolen THREE TIMES !
I bought it from a good friend whose dad was a cop in NYC and the car was stolen from behind the precinct house, right in the damn parking lot, fer pity sakes.
Anyhow, all VINs were stripped and the car was de-sexed from the outside (fenders had the vertical stripes in front, grille no longer said GTO etc to makeit less a target for thieves and keep the insurance company happy) but it was still a GTO.
My friend's father had died and he didn't want his kids driving it since the car was so potent and it was to be my wife's car.
It actually was funny when I went to Connecticut DMV and said I wanted to register "A stolen car."
A state trooper all but escorted me to a room beside the big room with the regular lines to a woman at a desk where I showed her the NY paperwork, all in order, and then they began laughing as we went outside and saw the NY State Police riveted stickers in various spots on the car with their numbers in place of the car's original VIN.
So, it can be done.:)
BTW, in the time we had that car, not a week went by that some kid didn't stop my wife or we heard a knock at the door "Hey, Lady, do you wanna sell that car?" My_favorite_Brougham 05-29-08, 01:54 PM Hey what do yall think of this Brougham? It's not a 350, but it does have the L03 engine. I'd be happy as long as it's better than a slug 307! ...and hopefully better gas mileage too. I'm thinking of offering $2700 for it, since it didn't sell on eBay.
But is 154,000 miles too high for the 305? I've heard about oil leaks, but I haven't had a chance to look at one up close. I think the A/C have been converted, so that's a bummer. But I might just drop a few cans of Freeze-12 in it it "retro-retro-fit" it. ;) And there's some funky hose under the hood, and who knows that the sunroof will do.
Basically I really like it because it's a d'E, has a sunroof, and is diplomat blue (btw, I could not find that name as an 'official' cadillac color).
Thoughts? ~Greg

My brother still has his '92 350 d'Elegance with 136K miles. Two deadbeat eBayers won it both times without any follow up communication. First time it brought $3,400 and second time $3,150.
At this point he might entertain less than $3K. He is in zip 23464.

I just got off the phone with the blue one's owner, and he want's no less than $3200. And it's only a 4hr. drive from my house. It really cuts into my costs to go up North, ya know. 96Fleetwood 05-29-08, 05:48 PM I understand totally, the cost of gas comes into play as well.
There is a gentleman coming to see it from North Carolina tomorrow, hopefully he will buy it. My parents are tired of having it sit in front of their business. 1990CaddyBrougham 05-29-08, 05:55 PM Gona have to hop back on the train quick greg, its a spreading sickness...

Deadbeat bidders waste time and money. I've bought and sold cars on eBay many, many times over the years. And have talked to lots of other dealers who do the same. Got lots of contacts.
Here's some eBay auto auction tips:
Start the bidding off low (to simulate bidding and interest). Include a reserve. And a buy it now. The BIN MUST require an immediate PAYPAL deposit. MAKE SURE you state it's a nonrefundable deposit. Change your settings ONLY to allow bidders with PAYPAL accounts and to the strongest settings blocking those with negs, newer accounts, etc. Real people bid and buy cars, they're out there -you want them bidding/buying your car.
After a few days, add a comment like, Wow, I've been getting all kinds of calls and emails! Lots of watchers on this auction too! Getting all kinds of interest on the BIN. ...at this point, allude to what it is. Don't say it outright but let
people know more or less where it's at. Easy enough to say, Reserve is set at a few hundred dollars away from the BIN.
A day or so after that, drop the price some just so the "buyer lowered his price" icon appears. And add another comment answering some of the general questions you've probably been getting.
Answer every question and get your friends and family with eBay accounts to ask you questions too. There's something positive gained to answering everybody's questions promptly and kindly.
IMPORTANT - Don't end your auction early. deadbeat bidders, dreamers, and competitors, will ALWAYS try to get you to end your auction early. Either they're dreamers, like the rush of the deal, or are competitors with a similar item wanting your auction off the block, or just some scumbag with nothing to do. They're all out there and they'll try to get you to end your auction early.
IMPORTANT - Ending your auction early. You've got an offer and you want to accept it. Unless you have cash in hand, don't end your auction. EVER. End it when they've paid for it or if they agree to send you a PAYPAL deposit (And for God's sake, be sure to immediately withdraw that to your bank or PAYPAL can hold it if they complain for any reason). Once you've withdrawn the money, end the auction.
What else?
If the auction ends with a BIN - you'll have your deposit. It happens but not as often as hammering out a deal earlier. Immediately request the buyer's contact information and call them. You want that number. If the number is wrong, or disconnected, immediately file a missing contact information complaint.
If you agree to lower the price for a buyer who can't give you a deposit in person or for whatever reason won't make a direct PAYPAL deposit to your account (some people feel suspicious of that), lower the BIN for them. Just be really careful when you do. I've done it for buyers who for whatever reason stalled and someone else bought it out from under them. Or I've dropped the BIN and never heard from the buyer again. Just be careful because you can't raise the BIN. Once it's down, and your buyer craps out, you're pants are down.
Occasionally, you'll be contacted by someone who won't be able to bid because of your settings. Great - wheel a deal but don't end the auction early unless you've got a cash or PAYPAL deposit.
Other tips:
Be realistic in pricing. If you're asking more than the market price, show them they're getting more (people don't mind paying more if they're getting more). Start the BIN on the high side - you can always drop it.
I've known dealers to actually make $$$ on nonrefundable deposits. 96Fleetwood 05-30-08, 09:59 AM I have been selling cars on eBay since 1998, this has been the first year I have had four auctions with deadbeat bidders... I think it is the economy scaring people from committing.
I run No Reserve auctions and have had great success, I am up to 200+ cars sold on eBay now. I have never had a good experience with BIN or Reserve auctions, it attracts false bidders who get stunned when they meet a reserve. The make an offer auctions are a joke, tried that twice and it was a comedy show.
I block bidders who I feel are "sketchy" and have it setup to block bidders with more than -1 feedback and who have more than two strikes. So far it has worked well, except for this Brougham and a Acura TL.
Weird issue with this last deadbeat bidder is he sent the deposit and now does not respond to emails or phone calls... oh well, it paid for my fees and time. My_favorite_Brougham 05-30-08, 12:06 PM That's good advice tenmark. That's the way I do things on eBay, and it paid off well when I sold my '91 CDV for triple what I paid. And it was a BIN. Some dealer bought it and just wired the cash right away! I would never do that, but if I got the cash, then I'm happy!
One suggestion is, I always try to run a car on Craigslist for two weeks before putting it on eBay. I just sold my mom's car two days ago.... and it was on Craigslist for a total of 45 MINUTES!! Talk about turnover!! That and can't beat the fees of $0. I've sold more cars on Craigslist faster than ebay, autotrader or anything else.
Oh, and I'm headed to go look at the diplomat blue Brougham tonight in Hot Springs, AR. I have a good feeling about this one... I think she might be "the one." Besides, who doesn't love a good ol' faithful 305?
Greg tenmark 05-30-08, 12:27 PM Same here. Been on the Bay since 98 but my current account has only been active since 2000. And having been a Marketing Analyst for Manheim - working on variety of cyber-auction/cyber-lot, and other online auction projects like Manheim Online, Ford Easy and Ford Quic (franchise-only auctions), etc. I too know what I'm talking about here.
Sold lots of cars online for me and millions of dollars worth of cars for others. And again, have lots of contacts in the business of wholesaling cars on eBay and craigslist.
I agree with 96Fleetwood, you can run into lots of problems with BIN or reserve auctions if you don't price it right to begin with or not have a reserve set fairly close to the BIN. It helps to let everybody know that the reserve is set fairly close to the BIN in your listing or in your comments. And that gives you a deposit guarantee if someone hits the BIN.
Offer is a joke for some. If you get an offer you like use it as a tool to contact the buyer and sell it off the block. Or, if you like the offer, drop the BIN instead of accepting it. NEVER accept an offer itself. Again, this gives you a deposit guarantee.
I don't have any luck with absolute reserve auctions. In a real auction setting, I fair better. But online, it just doesn't work for me. At least on eBay. With online auctions you largely get bidding in the twelfth hour due to sniper applications and last minute bidders taking advantage of the auction system. And that's not what you want. It tends to deflate the final value price. It also takes the spirit out of the auction. And that's what you want. lots of spirited bids. If you don't get them, auctions really don't work. Of course, you can always shill your auction to get that spirited bidding but I don't recommend doing it. And you sometimes run the risk of selling your item at a loss. Your buyer has to "elect" to send you a deposit. And that doesn't always happen. There's just no guarantees with no reserve auctions. No guarantee you'll make a profit. And do guarantee you'll get a deposit.
At least, that's my experience. Haven't had a deadbeat bidder in a long time.
Lately, I've had some good luck selling on Craigs. 96Fleetwood 05-30-08, 03:32 PM I always try craigslist before eBay as well, it free after all ;).
I just do this as a hobby, selling for dealers, friends & family, and myself.
Let's just say I never have an issue with my no reserve auctions :hide:
I have six eBay ids currently, so I try to spread the positive feedback and sell highline cars with one of the names only.
All great suggestions and much appreciated.
I wish you luck with that 5.0 liter in Arkansas, if it doesn't work out let me know.
Take care,
Elias tenmark 05-30-08, 05:56 PM Np Elias. I'm alway interested in how other people do it and their success with it. How many transactions do you actually complete off the block - most, right? 96Fleetwood 05-30-08, 10:21 PM You are right, I should be thankful... so far no issues besides these last two cars and both were after the New Year.
I am thankful for eBay, the sales I made helped pay for my first two years of medical school and is actually fun.
Did you have any hand in the Manheim Market Report? I use my Father's account almost daily to scout out the auction prices across the USA.
... but back to the topic.. so how was the Arkansas Brougham? Did you get back into RWD? tenmark 05-30-08, 11:04 PM The MMR is a sales report, more or less. So there's not much to it. I used it as a tool but didn't work on it myself. It's pretty much a straight forward reporting of sales and averages.
It's great for making buying and selling assumptions. Especially if you're unfamiliar with a specific car make or model.
Being the largest auto auction (worldwide), those averages really indicate the feel of the marketplace. Interesting enough, Kelly Blue Book uses the MMR as a basis for their reports.
When I want to know what to sell a car for, I look to the MMR averages and add $2K. Then I look at the low KBB. And then, open and closed eBay auctions. And then open listings on autotrader.com - and I make a few calls hoping to get actual sales prices. I take all that information and make the best pricing decision I can.
I try to come up with three good selling price points: Sold today. Sold one week. Sold one month.
Yea, flipping cars is fun. Especially for the someone like me. I like lots of cars (lots of Cadillacs too) and get bored quickly!! So I buy one, drive it for a while, and sell it when I start to get bored. I'm game for anything but like to stick to the highest trim and best color model/make available. You nearly always do well that way. Rare and hard-to-come stuff. Limited production and all that. Like V4P - that's my next Fleetwood. Black bald V4P. Or 60 Specials - had two and open for another one! My_favorite_Brougham 05-31-08, 09:13 PM THE SEARCH IS OVER!!

It even has the Astroroof! But it seems to cause wind noise, and when I washed the car I got a puddle of water in my passenger-rear floor.... so I guess I'll have to clean out the tubes. Other than that, the car is practically mint (aside from needing a driver armrest). And it has a ton more power than the 307 i had in the '90. This '92 only has the 305, but it's close enough to the 350 for me. After all, I don't burn out of stop signs, etc.
There is a little bit of slight rust bubbling on two of the door handles and on the corner of the driver's door, but none larger than a quarter. I hope I can have a body man fit that and keep this Diplomat Blue beauty looking great. I can't wait to start putting her in shows!
Greg I~LUV~Caddys8792 05-31-08, 09:19 PM Holy crap man, that's sweet! I love it! With the d'Elegance package and Astroroof, it's practically fully loaded! tenmark 05-31-08, 11:31 PM Very nice... congrats!! 96Fleetwood 06-01-08, 08:06 AM Congrats!
How much did you snag it for?
What tubes are you cleaning out for the water on the passenger floor? My friend has the same issue with his 1991.
Take care,
Elias My_favorite_Brougham 06-01-08, 08:58 PM I paid $3200... The guy would not budge, but hey... It is a nice car!
As for the Astroroof, I'm just going by what I've heard Benzilla say, and I say some drainage holes in the frame when I looked at the opedning from above. The car has 155,xxx miles now but it drives like it were 55,xxx. There's alot of power especially on the highway. It comes out of a stop pretty good, but that first shift kinda slows her down... still pretty nice though.
Here's an interesting quirk. The cruise control works fine, but whenever I set it, it maintains exactly 2mph's below what I set. So to maintain 70, I go up to 72 and set it. Also, according to the folks I was traveling with (see the travel radio?) my speedometer shows about 2-3 miles over what I'm really doing. What's up with that?? Maybe it was the other car's speedo.
And how come my washer fluid wont come out even though my tank is full? Oh well, just another thing to look into.
But the car is SWEET! The astroroof works flawlessly, and the d'Elegance seats have no rips; a few beauty creases but no rips! The back seat had never been sat in before! According to the seller, this was a one-owner car owned by an elderly gentleman who always garaged the car. Then the old man died, and his son brought it to this dealer to get rid of it quick... now I have it! And that vinyl top is sooooo mint; it looks wet and shiny and great! it even appears to sparkle like the firemist paint. The car was bought in Flint, Michigan, but has the frame rust of a Texas car! Only those few rust bubbles I mentioned and some pitting in the ash trays and gear shifter. Hmm, but I can easily replace those.
I'm going to go take some pictures and post them shortly. Thanks for all the 's.
Greg 96Fleetwood 06-01-08, 09:40 PM Sounds nice! Too bad he didn't budge on the price, it wasn't worth more than what it ended for on eBay IMO due to the mileage, but then again these cars are getting harder and harder to find. My_favorite_Brougham 06-01-08, 09:59 PM On an interesting note, the guy said he paid 2800 for it, and spent $200 to get fluids/plugs/ac stuff etc. Then he paid for two ebay listings. So.. he just broke even. He wasn't going to let it go for $3200 but I reminded him that's what he said on the phone. So I was stern and got the deal! :D
To me it was worth it because it has the astroroof, the d'E and the color. It's my favorite! Besides, if anything ever happens to the engine, I'd like to drop a Vortec 350 in it.

That baby is CLEAN!!!!! Nice one Greg, must be awesome to cruise down the freeway with that astro roof open, sitting on those seats! Like a cloud....
Very VERY nice. Im sure you really miss your 307 now... haha.
Ill have to see for you, i do belive i have a REALLY nice drivers door armrest. Infact a whole car with a Mint blue delgance leather interior. Jay will be able to see that shortly. ;)
Is your drivers arm rest the only defected one?
Ill take a look for you.
Again, awesome car. 155k, does not show on that car.
Anthony- My_favorite_Brougham 06-01-08, 11:47 PM Yeah man, just the driver door. That's the only crack. Actually the driver door pull is cracked too.. probably from opening/closing the door so much.
The flash really brings out the dirt in the car, but after a little detailing she'll shine up nice! tenmark 06-02-08, 07:31 AM Very nice!! And will clean right up!! | |
