i finally get my ext tongiht. i finalized the deal last thursday, but there were a couple of places on the fenders they wanted to touch-up to make it perfect (and i can't really argue with that idea) but yesterday i get a call and the idiot business manager (the guy who ONLY does the paper work for selling cars) screwed up last week and didn't copy the registration card from the car i'm trading in correctly. when the idiot copied the card, he cut off the registration number. so i had to go back down last night to get it copied again. the sales manager, who i bought my ext from, was there and i asked him if this was one last cruel joke, make me come down one last time and not being able to take home my truck. he got a good laugh out of that. and now finally the day has come :) one more work day and then i'll be rollin' like a big dog :)

thanks man. now that it's summer time i might miss my eclipse, but i think overall i'll be much happier all year with an EXT.

great.....now my idiot boss wants to have a meeting from 4-5 :madtalkin so i get to work a 10 hour day. if i don't get my truck because of this, i'm really going to be pissed. just because he has no life outside of work doesn't mean the rest of us don't either. :banghead:

What color is your truck, and what is the first thing you want to do to it?

it's black with shale interior. hopefully i can get a grill or wheels first. my birthday is in two weeks and i'm hoping for either a grill or some nice embroidered floor mats. hopefully by the end of the summer i'll have wheels done and audio (headunit) upgraded. i just have to find out the best way to upgrade the headunit and still have the features i want.

i was also thinking an intake and/or exhaust in the near future. i'm hoping that might have a positive effect on my fuel economy.

what features would those be? Steering wheel controls?

mainly the cd changer. if i can't use that one i'd like to put something there. second would be the steering wheel controls. not sure how i'd use them. i had the truck for about a day and a half and didn't use them much. i don't like how they're placed on the '02, but i don't like to have something that doesn't work still on the truck.
