I purchased 08 Escalade 2 weeks ago and I went back to the dealer today and saw the same exact car as mine with the Motorola Bluetooth HF850 installed. I asked the dealer how much the option was, they said $599.00 I did some research online and found that bluetooth system selling for approx $80.00 Does anyone know about this Motorola unit and if it connects to the cars NAV unit and speakers?

You'll need a Bluetooth integration module that will be connected between your Motorolla kit and your Navigation Radio. that module is available 100% plug and Play

Oh thats cool, would the callers phone number display on the NAV screen too? Also If I purchase the video in motion lockpick as well, would both lockpicks connected to eachother work? or that will give a problem?

It will not show caller ID, because Motorolla kit does not have that feature. You can combine two unit together. But then it's better if You buy all in one unit, plus it has a lot more options

very nice, is there a unit that displays the number and name of the caller on the nav screen? if not which model of the motorola bluetooth system will work with your kit? Do you know of any websites that sell them cheap? My car has the rear view camera and the rear fold down entertianment tv. Is that going to effect anything? Do you also provide installation instruction or video on how to take the nav apart and connect your plug n play system? Thank you.

there is a company call scosche that supose to come out with module that will display caller ID on your Nav screen. they said in July. That module call "BlueFusion" but nobody really knows if its going to work on Escalade or not. They have a video on YouTube, but its on Tahoe. other then that is another kit, that does something like that plus it will unlock everything else on your Nav Screen
just click on image to play video

The 850 is a P.O.S., don't waste your money on it. On the other hand the IHF 1000 is the one I like best. It is voice operated but very easy to use. You can purchase the unit with the interface from radiosandmore.com and it is plug and play. It is $295 and they will overnight it for free. And no, I do not work for them. The part number is GM3. I install these things all the time and my customers love them. My 2 cents.
