Hey kids,

Just ordered this kit and looking forward to it. Part #9979. Anyone have this kit installed? Just wondering what your experience with it has been and if you can give me some tips to watch out for.

I've attached a pic i found of an escalade with the groundforce kit installed for reference.

Thanks all!

Is this kit better then Eibach's? I planning on using McGaughy's Front Spindle with either Eibach Coils or Ground Force. What one is better between the two?

Ground force makes a front spindle as well. You could probably call ground force and they will sell you the front spindle and the rear springs for the right stance.

I don't think any kit is 'better' than another. I just ordered this particular kit because it has the mildest drop; 1.5" in the front and 2.5" in the back. I personally think 2/3 is too much.

Well I finally had the kit installed; and it looks great. As soon as my 24's come in it should complete the look. Now my sled had ground force springs and hotchkis sways; needless to say it handles much better than before. As for the ride, I was SHOCKED at how smooth it was; that's right SMOOTH! The sways firmed up the ride more the springs did; so I LOVE the ride.

PICS!!!

I also finally had the GM Performance exhaust tip welded on at the perfect (in my eyes) angle and length...thanks again to Carl for the cat-back!!!

Marco, looks great, would love to lower my trucks, but I already push enough snow. :( Oh yea, your truck needs Zaino, and I know you have it. ;)

Haha thanks funny thing is...i fully waxed the truck on Sunday, then left it in the garage until wednesday morn when i took it to the speed shop, which was raining that day so it got dirty. I'm going to wash her today, that should shine her up a bit!

PS - Zaino is great stuff; i love how easily it goes on/off. I used the polish on Sat. (the one that you can use on glass, plastic, paint, chrome)

Looks great! I just bought the Ground Force Spindle Kit, and will post pics of that tuesday after the install. That way people can see the difference of the two!
