On three of the dash vents on my SRX the slider portion (that directs the air up and down and side to side) is broken and directing the air flow is not possible.

Is this a warranty issue? (obviously I have not had many cars under warranty).

It has a 4 year, 50,000 mile "BUMPER TO BUMPER" warranty. EVERYTHING should be covered. Assuming you have a decent dealer.

The parts are warranted against a failure caused by a factory defect.
As long as they can't see the hammer marks where you pounded the dash or the skin from your knuckles where you punched it out of frustration :lol:
