It then opens when the car is warm. But is it a must to have? jayoldschool 04-02-08, 08:58 AM No, it's not a "must have". However, the car will run better with it. No, it won't "choke" the engine. The exhaust will run back up through the crossover in the intake manifold to heat it and the intake charge while the engine warms up. Then, it will open when the car is warm allowing full exhaust flow. | |
