I think I have a bad air bag or sumthing. Can anyone tell me of some tall tale signs of a bad shock or air bag? The car is level everywhere else.

Can these air suspensions pop or leak.?

The car is still smooth but on the freeway feels like the wheel hits the wheel well. Especially with a person in the backseat.

Is it time to replace or can I pump it up somehow.? Ill take sum pics tonite.

Any suggestions in the mean time ?

Thanks.

An 85 rear wheel drive Fleetwood uses air shocks to level out the car. Pull the wheel and inspect the shock for tears in the air chamber around the shock. Look also for the air supply line coming to the left rear shock being loose. The pump underhood that supplies air has a valve on it just like a tire does. You can add no more than 70 to 80 lb from a air compressor to verify the shock or lines are leaking. A 23 year old car probably needs new rear shocks anyway!!.
