whats the easiest way to remove camshaft sensor from my 2000 sts. shuold i remove the fuse box first .can someone help please. thanks

Peteski Logandiagnostic 04-14-08, 01:51 AM I think the way in..is from under the car. Remove the large splash shield. Reach in, and replace. I think the sensors have 10mm screws holding them in. Some suggest removing the oil filter adapter. I dont get it, I can get in without even touching the oil stuff. Single connector, short pigtail from harness. PITA. Metal bracket just over makes it even worse. Suppose you could also pull the fuse/relay box and/or p/s pump. Still a PITA.
