Help? My Car won't start on it's own. I had tried charging it with a Battery Super Charger and it started. Basically it clicks when I turn the key, but will not start, after charging the brand new battery (which was just replaced as well as new battery cables) it will start right up with no hesitation. Then leave it for any length of time, hour or so or longer, it won't start. I tried jiggling the shifter, while in park and it started once...then another time turned and held the key and it started on it's own. I do hear the clicking but no turning over..not sure if it's the starter or something inside the ignition cylinder or even a key/security system issue? I am also seeing a small spark on the drivers side under the hood by mid-bottom of the motor when it's trying to turn over..any ideas or help on this? thanks!

Make sure cables are tight and check positive lead that goes to fuse box on driver's side for looseness. Your car may have a battery drain issue also.

Check to see if your batter has any acid on it and that your terminals are clean. Get your alternator tested at autozone they do it for free weither its in the car or not. Or just when u get your car started get a voltometer and test them both you should get a 14.1 to see if your alternator is charging your battery.
