I mentioned in this thread (http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/rwd-19xx-1984-deville-fleetwood-1985/75140-80-coupe-deville-982-miles.html) that I would post a video of the '80 CDV Diesel, owned by a local man, which he is presently trying to sell... for $18,500.00. It is a beautiful car, and here it is in action. Forgive the dialogue at the beginning. I was explaining what I was doing to a co-worker who knows nothing about cars. Also forgive the vertical shot at the beginning. Notice at the very end, an old man asks me if I'm into Cadillacs. :bigroll:

I've also included a few short videos of some of my other cars, just to prove they do exist... and run! I have more videos, but those are so long they'd take a while to upload. So I chose the best short clips to share with you guys. I might cut them down someday to share, we'll see!
Here's my '79 Sedan deVille, which I picked up for less than $150.00. I was returning from a drive down a dirt road nearby, and took the field by my house as a shortcut, and to avoid the main roads since the car is not licensed. Don't worry, this car hasn't seen any Duke-Boys action. I take it very easy with this old girl. She runs great and sounds even better. Don't mind my dad snapping at me.. warning me not to tear up his lawn. I stop at the end to ask if I was spinning my wheels at all.

Next is our '76 Fleetwood Brougham. This car hasn't seen a lot of action since we bought it in the fall. We detailed it, and parked it in the garage. It's been turned on for a while once every two or three weeks, and here is a clip of one of those times. It'll continue to wait where you see it until nicer weather. This car is whisper quiet, but has a deep, in-your-gut rumble when idling, thanks to the wonderful 500. It's not burbling or loud, but just a deep resonating sound that gives this car an unbelievable presence. The entire exhaust it brand new, including manifolds. We before we bought it, we thought the car had duals, but have come to find out that it is a beautiful split-pipe job that divides just in front of the gastank into two big pipes that turn down at the end. They look sensational since they're barely noticeable if you're not looking (as they should be on a Caddy), and are perfectly spaced on this car. Please disregard the Powerpuff Girls comforter acting as curtains in the background...

Here's the only video of the '80 Coupe I picked up so far. I took this when I went to pick it up. The old man who sold it to me was quite the character. Here he is giving me a rather obvious demonstration of what the power antenna does... although I was impressed it still worked. My gf Sarah chills in the background. You can sort of hear the car running.

Finally, here's a short video clip of my '50 hearse, the day we went to pick it up. It had been in a barn for ages until my GF and I went to look at it.. and almost took it for a one-way ride down the side of a mountain. No brakes, long story. We got it stopped however... and stuck. It sat out for 2 weeks until we came back with a trailer to bring it home. That was quite a day as well. Trying to free a giant peice of iron, on the side of a mountain... in the middle of nowhere... in the middle of a snowstorm. I have many videos, and someday I'll upload them all and share the whole story. Here's the shortest one for now: The old Caddy moving under it's own power up onto the tailer.

Hope you guys enjoyed these. I love videos like this just because I can listen to the sounds of these awesome engines anytime. Cadillacs rule. :highfive:
