So I was just washing my '05 STS and noticed the third break light was popping out on one of the sides. Does anyone know how this is attached the the trunk? I don't really want to waste a day at the dealer for something small like this that I can fix on my own. Anyone have this problem yet?

there are like 5 bolts that are holding it in place. maybe one of them is loose. you can take off the panel there by taking off those black clips so u can access them. your car should still be under warranty though so i would just take it in.

Same thing with 05 STS. Took it to the dealer, he said they replaced the whole light. Perfect now, but then again I am pretty anal about my STS.

I took mine in the past weekend and they ordered a whole new light as well. The guy said it was like $500 but it's still under warranty so I'm fine with it.
