Looking to repair my leaky HVAC. I started getting a slow drip coming from under the passenger side dash behind the glove box. Pulled it all apart and found the source. Anybody got tips, tricks, or cheats to fix the leak?

The drain elbow may be plugged or missing. This causes high pressure air to force the condensation out into the passenger compartment instead of dripping on the ground. Look on the passenger side firewall, down under the heater hose connections, sort of behind the wheel well. There will be a little fitting, and there should be a rubber 90 degree elbow on it that points down. If it is still there, pull it off, and make sure it and the fitting are clear. I'll bet it is gone. You can get another one, or just put long piece of tube on it that points down to the ground.
Here is a pic of one with the elbow where the owner added more hose so it doesn't drip on the frame:

Your other thread confused me - I thought I had responded to you already...

anybody have ideas for a 1992 FWB with the same problem. It doesn't have the same outside drain hose.
