Just use a quality leather conditioner. Warning....don't treat the seat bottoms or else every time to put on the breaks you'll slide forward.

I have found that LEXOL makes an excellent leather cleaner and conditioner. Another source that I use for virtually all my car detailing products is www.autopia-carcare.com. They have virtually everything one needs for all aspects of car detailing. Their leather care product is by SONUS and is also excellent.

personally, i prefer mother's products, lexol has a nasty odor to it, to my snout. i use nothing but warm water to clean the interior, except for the mats, and on the seats i use mother's leather conditioner on the seats and other leather surfaces. it has lanolin in it and the smell is great. for the vinyl surfaces i use mother's vinyl treatment...low luster shine and a fantastic aroma.
if you are hell bent on getting the gm products, i'm sure that if you go to a parts counter, they will order the stuff for you..it will take a few days at most, i would imagine.
one last point: my car will be two years old in june 08 and it still has the new car smell and that's due to using very mild cleaners (you can't get much milder than water!!). when i do clean my mats with mother's carpet cleaner, i take the mats out of the car and let them air out thoroughly to ensure no
chemical odors get into the fabric of the interior. also, no food in the car, especially fast food...nasty smell from that stuff.
okay, i'm a bit obsessive about the interior....

I also use Lexol, first the cleaner (every few months) and then the conditioner, and have for years.
Unlike said above, apply everywhere on the seats...you can't leave out a seat base, as that gets most of the wear. If you're sliding off the seat afterwards, something is wrong--or you're just not used to leather. Never have had that issue, just leather that smells, looks, and feels better.
Various stores sell it, and also many online sites do (I tend to order everything):

There are many leather treatments, but this is a well known one.
And then for ALL interior plastics, 303 Aerospace protectant. None of the garbage that harms the plastics, none of the greasy feel or glossy look, and awesome protection:

If you use Lexol, or any other conditioner, and slide
out of the seat, you're using too much.
A little on a wipe cloth followed by a terry cloth buff is enough.

Zaino also makes a great cleaner and conditioner.
