:thepan:I need help. I just bought my 2000 deville. It did not come with a CD changer. But system sounds great. It has a CD player and it has six stock speakers. I have an 30gb iPod and the iPod to car kit that I want to put into it, but can not find the CD changer cable to save my life. I’d been all through the trunk and the Dash. Can some one help me through this please. The cable behind the radio has one blue 32pin connector and an antenna cable. What do I need to by for this to work?

I had the very same problem...
Try looking under the center console. To get to the wires you need, first pop up the center shift bezel. The rear of the bezel should just pop up and then you kinda have to pull it back a little, then up.
Just turn it so it still stays around the shifter and let it lay out of the way (make sure you put towels down to protect from scratches!!).
In the rear area, toward the right side, under some shift cables, you will see, tucked under a little metal clip, the wiring harness you need. It sohould be basically under the center armrest area. About above where the cupholders go when you retract them back in.
Its a little hidden, but, its there.
I used a USA SPEC for my IPOD. I then attached the IPOD to the dash with a Pana-vise mount. I posted pics over in the radio section.
The whole install took about 45 minutes but that was because it took me 20 minutes to find the correct wiring harness !!
I love the sound quality and I'm really happy that I can control the IPOD with the steering wheel controls.
Let me know if you need more help. Once I figured where everything was it was a piece of cake !!

I have the steering wheel type shifter. I don’t have the floor type shifter. What do you recommend? Also thank you for the quick responds.

Hmm.... Not sure..
I would look around close where the CD Changer would have been if it were installed.
I don't know where it would be on your car.
Once you find it though, as long as you have the extra GM cable it will all plug right in.
Sorry I can't be more help..

Your CD changer plug is behind the glove box.
