Hey guys, posted a few days ago regarding this slade i was thinking of getting. here it is!

it has a vizualogic dual headrest LCD monitor system with built in DVD player. they work fine, but i get no audio. i cant get the IR headsets to work, and more importantly id like it to play over the cars speakers as well. Any suggestions?

also if you look at the interior pic of the monitors, below the passenger side (the main unit with the dvd player) there is a whole mess of medusa like wires tthat are in plain site. is there a way to conceal these? also the plastic covers of the seatback are sort of loose, anyway to tighten them? thanks in advance... car is dirty, will detail next week....

Beautiful truck and nice looking headrest monitors. What make are they? You should try to conceal the wires under the passenger seat a little better to give it a cleaner look.

Dr. SS:

You in Tulsa? I saw the QuikTrip in the pic... just curious!?! I am new here and just got a new escalade about 2 weeks ago.

thanks for the replies. I am in st. louis.

the headrest monitors are vizualogic.

i agree with concealing the mess of wires. need to work on that. I would also like it to output audio over the cars speakers. is that possible? my kids dont use the IR headsets....

You need an FM modulator to broadcast the sound over an FM radio station. Pick out a local FM station that doesn't get any use, like 87.9, and set the modulator to that station.

fm modulator. hmm.. i wonder if there is one already installed. maybe ill just start from the beginning of the fm range and see if i pick up audio while the headrest monitors are playing.

another question, can any IR headset work? or do you need system specific?
