I was thinking the same thing. I would NOT want that thing following me on the battle field with how noisy it is..... Wait, it is supposed to be an army thing right?

Have you seen Band of Brothers? I think it would play out like the scene where Lt. Spears runs through middle of Foy during the battle and not a single German shoots at him. The enemy would be so stunned they would just watch it go by.

I can appreciate the sophistication there too. It was pretty amazing to see a full grown man kick the thing and it never took a tumble.

Ahh, but can it climb a ladder?

If you put a starving animal (not saying the dog was starving) on the bottom of a ladder with food on the top of it, I am pretty sure that animal is gonna get that food one way or another..

We also assume that an adult would be able to work the self-checkout built for people who barely speak english, but that is not the case. I honestly have to go over there and fix people's problems more times than I can remember because they are too stupid to get it right the first time. If it beeps, then it scanned the item, so there is no need to scan it again. Easily over 20 times today I had to void out an item because someone scanned it twice. Some guy actually scanned the same item 4 times in a row today.

Self-scan deals are way the hell and gone too complicated for me. If that's all they've got, I'll go somewhere else to buy my stuff.
