Black/Raven 2008 EXT.

The salesman says it is a "Sport" edition, chrome exhaust tips, blacked out grill, different wheels.

Anyone familiar with this?

I think that is a dealer package, have seen it at a few dealerships, they told me they did it in house, and I have not seen it on the Caddy web site, but they are always behind. Best of luck with your new truck. :)

The Sport Package is selected to be on certain trucks from the factory, a local GM Certified DVA(Dealer Vehicle Accessories) warehouse supplies the parts VIN specific, and the dealer just installs it. It consists of grille, wheels, tip, lugnuts and locks, and new spare tire carrier with longer cable. these are my bread and butter, pay good and quick to do. I LOVE the color matched grille, it looks so much better.

The Sport Edition is a great and quite unique set of changes from the factory:

I gotta be honest, the wheels are not what I like.
I am headed back Monday to swap for the standard Escalade wheel, which I like a lot better.

I drove the truck on the highway and in town and I didn't hear any unusual wind noise.

Overall, an excellent buying experience.
My "we owe" list is long; headrest DVDs, wheel swap, full detail and trailer brake controller install.

I thought it was odd that the MPG rating was not on the window sticker.

Should I be worried?:yup:

Just curious...is the exhaust tip chrome or just stainless? Anyone got a part number for it? Also...what is the longer spare cable for?

On the window sticker it says, "stainless steel exhaust tips".
It looks to be chrome or high polish stainless, and of course, there is just one.
Sorry, no part number listed.
