Can anyone please give me tips to slow down? I have an 04 w/8cyl, awd and this car is soooo much fun to drive. I drive mostly hwy, luckily I have some friends with badges, but when I get on the country roads, thats when I move to sport shift and have a ball! Such a smooth comfortable ride. Someone help before I hurt someone. It's kind of comical to watch my family hold on for dear life while we're going to church. When they get out, it's like they were on a wild roller coaster. Fun, Fun, Fun!:cop:

I miss that...... My truck is faster than my v8 SRX was, but handles ,well, like a big heavy truck. Which means the only fun I can have is off the line on a straight road up to the posted speed limit..

Also, have fun, but be safe!

Go to the dealer for an oil change, or tire pressure check or even to just fix a rattle.
Watch them (or shut your eyes) as they take your baby to a dark secluded corner of the shop behind a wall of tires so you can't see her being ravaged.
She won't scream, or even whimper, as they connect a life sucking cable to her computer port and have the big bad GM computer programming monster reflash her spirit from miles away to that of a 57 Ford.
Only you and your family and friends will remember her finest days...she'll have no recollection of the thrill of the wind rushing by her side view mirrors or the feeling of taking in huge gulps of fresh air when you asked her to do 0-60 runs for the fun of it.
Rest in peace......Problem solved ! ! !

I do try to drive civil, with passengers.
What I like most, is the instant exceleration at 75MPH.
Passing on the highway is a breeze.

On our way home we have an intersection where couple hundred yards after the intersection lanes merge together (left lane continues and right one merges into it). Quite often we end up in a situation with us in a left lane waiting for green light and some riceburner/"badass" truck in the right hoping to take off first and sneak in front of us at the last second when lanes merge.

I gotta confess to you guys it gives me pleasure to see my better half utter "or no, you don't"(riceburner) or "you gotta be kidding me" (badass truck) and step on it to unavoidably force the offending party to brake hard and merge behind us.
