I just purchased an 04 SRX and am wanting to put an Alpine touch screen DVD/Navigation where the 6 disc changer is BUT want to keep the radio part because of all the info there (ie. tire pressure, gas mileage, etc.). My question is if these are two separate pieces. Can I pull out just the disc changer? Has anyone had this done that can show me pics? My goal is to have all of the sound going through the Alpine and just use the stock stereo for the car info. Is this possible?
