I'm looking at a 2002 DTS that seems to have a radio problem. The radio dispays everything as normal but no sound comes from the speakers. It does not have navigation. Any ideas as to what the problem might be?

Try disconnecting the battery cable for a minute or so. Then reconnect. The radio and amp are on a Class 2 network. Sometimes the data can get scrambled and wont work. When I bought my 2001. 1 day after the radio did not work. Tech 2 could not see a problem. The battery cable reset fixed it. On mine, the radio would turn on for 1/2 second, then go dead.
