Hello all,
I am having a problem and im not sure what the cause is . could someone please try and help. My car starts to shake when i get to 60-65 mph , it is not very bad until i start to make slight turns (like on freeways that has turns ).Im not sure if it is a bad tire (broken thread) or something else ...
All the tires are in good condition , as far as looks on the thread...
Thanks in advance....

Straight line vibration would usually be wheel/tire balance. Increasing vibration in turns (at highway speeds) sounds like either a bent wheel or tread separation in a tire. Maybe, just maybe, a front wheel bearing capsule.

Thanks , for the response, i will check into the tire tread first, hopefully it is something thats not going to cost me an arm and a leg...
Put the front tires on the rear and compare. 60 to 65 vibration is usually tire balance, but a distorted belt in a tire could cause this as well. If turning the wheel makes it worse then a CV joint in one of the drive axles could be the cause. So, swap tires, check tire balance then report back.
Had the same thing on a 95 Deville but at 45mph and up got a lot of answers but the one that worked was Road Force Balancing came right out of it was unbalanced tires.

Yeah, i did have the shaking once before , i bought a new tire and had the others rotated and balanced ...everything was fine for about three months , now it is back but a little bit worse,
it seems as long as i am incressing in speed i dont feel it , but as soon as i let off i start to feel the shaking again

funny im haveing the same problem...
any news yet...
If increasing throttle stops the vibration, its not a tire or wheel. A tire is speed sensitive whereas an axle can be throttle sensitive. Move the steering wheel right then left when the vibration is felt, if the vibration changes, look for a faulty axle as the primary culprit.
