I found this on youtube, and its pretty sweet!!! This guy shows you how to make your whitewalls wider for almost nothing!!!!! Had to post it!

Do all tires have such a huge white wall hidden under there? I'd like to do that do some tires I already have, but I hope you can do that to mounted tires.

I saw this video last year when I first started to search for wider whites. I didn't post it because I didn't see it as a viable option. Mainly, the quality is not acceptable when the job is finished. Have a close look, and you will see that the edge is wavy.

No, not all tires will have that width of white. You have to grind one to see how wide (and it will only be under tires that are ww or rwl to start with).
