I just picked up a very low mileage program SRX V6. I am bringing myself up to par on where everything is. I can't locate the engine oil filter. I know that I am supposed to use a sync motor oil but where is the oil filter? Anybody?

Top drivers side of Engine. It is a canister filter style.

Just to take Smokiejoe's reply a bit further standing in front of the car with the hood opened look on the drivers side of the engine for a round metal container with a 7/8 hex nut on its cover thats the filter housing it takes a paper filter element.
