All was well until I had to go and muck it up. I switched from a Treo 650p (which I had working flawlessley) to a 700p because I needed a phone without a camera and it was just about about that time it all started. I'm getting the hit or miss on connecting the phone to the car automatically and yes, I have it set as default in the car. Sometimes I'll go to answer and the radio stays loud and I can't hear the other side but they can hear me. Other times, everything mutes and I can't hear them. I got the software update about 6 months ago so I don't think that is it. Its likely just buggy, but if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.
But, here's where it really gets weird. When the phone rings the number displayed is the LAST phone call, not the current one! And sometimes the CD will show the information for the previous CD. Its like the unit is in a twilight zone.
Anyone seen this before? Ewill?
And the worst part is that I don't want to install the lockpick until I get this resolved because I am sure that they will blame the lockpick....

I replied to your PM fred.
I really so wish that I had a good answer for this one.
GM really doesn't give us any support for Bluetooth at all.
Try the stuff I sent in the PM and let us know if it helps any.

you went from the access based software 650 to the windows based 700, correct?
i'm just taking a shot here, but treo 700p (which i believe is alltel, verizon, sprint, etc) did have one issue in the verizon version. regarding the bluetooth. palmone site has a patch for it. the tdma windows versions are quirky

Actually, I stayed with the palm based software and went to the 700p and yes, it is Verizon. I'll take a look on Palm's website to see if I can find it. If you know where it is, can you post up a link?

Thanks! Actually, I found it this morning. Spent the 45 minutes reprogramming the phone. Had to have my tech guy remote into my computer to redirect all of my other programs so they would sync and....presto...it worked perfectly when I left this afternoon for a meeting. Hopefully, it will stay that way! Thanks again! You may have solved what otherwise would have been a really really annoying problem!! If we still could give out poiunts, they would be coming your way by the boatload!
