Hello guys,

Well, I dropped off my car at PSI last weekend. Car is pretty much done but someone stole my radiator fan. I have checked with lindsay and other local dealers but they are in back order. BTW, sts, srx and regular cts share most of the parts in fan assembly.

I am looking for used fan or after market kit. Please post here if you have set or know somewhere i can pick one up asap.

yes, this really sucks but what can you do. I need to find replacement part.

If all else fails throw in a C5 radiator fan and hoses as it plugs right in. Just have to figure out how to suspend it.

thanks. what do you mean to suspend it? you mean mounting points? can you post of pictures of how you did it.

I didn't recieve a call from Jeff regarding this, and I talked to Alice early to day, and she didn't mention anything. I sure how nothing walked off of my car, since it's still there.

Well they didn't break into the shop. Jeff left the fan outside to get dry and someone took it. I saw your silver V there. your car is in the shop next to mine. I wouldn't worry about it other than me taking your fan. J/K.

HAHA. I just picked up my car. It didn;t get done ebcause there was some other broken down V there that took up all Jeff's time ;)

I guess I should have opened the hood to check if I had a fan asembly in there :D

Alice told me Jeff was over there for a few hours on Sunday. He drove my car over to Alice's church so I could pick it up. Since I didn't pick mine up at PSI, I didn't see your car, or fan.

My car was in to get a cam/rockers/ud pulley and all the other supporitng cam bits installed. Unfortunately he didn't get to mine, because some other guy's V was taking too long ;). Seriously though, I was supposed to get my cam installed last week by Damian Harney, however he went out of town unexpectedly, so I called Jeff to see if they could squeeze me in last minute. He said he would try. Bascially if everything went perfectly with your install, then they would have go to mine, but since you were having so much done, and there were a few hiccups, mine will have to wait for another few weeks. Jeff did have time to get a baseline pull on my car, and tweek the tune.

Sorry about that, damn radiator is hard to find. Jeff is trying to put after market fan that flows 400cfm. I'm not sure it is needed but car should run cooler i would think.

It's all good. You can't plan for this kinda stuff. What kinda jackhole steals a fan assembly?

Well, Jeff thinks one of those trucks who gather scrap metal and junk probably took it since it was outside the shop being dry. Anyway, don't ever loose your fan because it is about 650 bucks from Lindsay. i never heard of fan costing this much.
