Alright people the time has come for us to stand up.. WW has unselfishly helped many people here. He is the most giving person to people he's never met, I have ever met, now it's our turn to go to the site and kick down a couple of coins to this good cause. Figure out what that advise/embz/side marker he has given to this community was worth and kick it down.

(Plus it will be good fodder for us to make fun of him with no hair..)

Don't make me use the search button to find what he's done for you...

I cannot thank this group enough for all of the support we received. In total, cash and checks (yet to be posted) we raised about $4,000 and it is truly for an awesome cause. The 7th grade girl that organized the event, Carli, had her long hair cut for locks of love and then shaved...truly, truly incredible and at times a tearful event. The ENTIRE FAMILY related to a young 4 year old girl with Leukemia had their heads shaved, and their cousins et al were the shavers (and beautiful shavers at that).

If any of you care to make a real difference in the future - spam your friends, family and associates and put a price on your head. It is, by far, one of the most worthwhile events I've ever been involved in...and yes...I have an ugly head!

I wish I could, Dennis, but they're sitting on my desk at work. Only pics I have are linked above (uploaded to the STB website)...but I'll post them Monday when I pull them off the camera (that is, as I said, on my desk at work).

BTW - 4/26/RFR signed up with instructor. Also learned one of my clients is an instructor and drives some sort of single seat racecar out there too. Mentioned I knew of a guy with an Atom...he drooled. Helmet feels strange without hair - tried it as soon as I got home.

Can't wait.... :burn:

Since I'm just checking in for the first time in a while and most on this thread are familiar I'll say hey!

By the way, good job Baldie. As a baldie 365 a yr I can call you baldie, baldie! You still have your Lotus? Meet me in the Paddock! I'll be the guy in the red Carrera. And hopefully by then I will have stopped spinning like a top once a day! Four events, 4/360's. I didn't believe them when they told me I would spin 6-8 times when I first got the car. I do now.

Dennis, nice Vids. Man that Atom is fast. I was at Laguna a cpl weeks ago and there was an Atom out there just Kickin the crap out of everything. It might have been you. Were you at Laguna on Easter Sunday 3/23?
Anyway...Good Stuff...

Ps. I'd like to say I helped the cause but that would be a lie. I lost my wallet and had to cancel all my plastic about 4 hrs before I found my wallet. Gr8! I hate that...

Hmmm...right at 270hp now, Dennis...not quite the HP/LB ratios you're used to (a hefty 7.6 lbs per HP - poker by Atom standards), but above many of the Porch guys :sneaky:

Boy I can see this place hasn’t changed!

Hey Dennis can you keep those engine HP to weight ratio cracks down please. Just because I’m 14.3lb per HP doesn’t mean I can’t come into a turn to hot pinchin leather between my ass cheeks only to lift and spin. That was my first day second session at Laguna.

I know of at least two secrets. First one, don’t lift ever/ever no not ever. Second one, don’t be a dumb-ass. Second day in the car at Sears Point, warmer day, afternoon session 4th lap spin, go in for my slap on the hand black flag go back out two laps later spin again. OOOoopppssss, slow lap in wrist slap more than plenty of cool down. Park the car measure tire temps and pressure. 43lb A/P rear tires! That’s only 5lb high what pressure should be in use, but probably close to 10lbs too high if measured no cool down or time laps.
:bang2: That should cover the dumb-ass portion of this narrative.

4th spin was a combo. Doing something wrong and a lack of left foot brake coordination with the gas pedal matted. :bonkers: Called for Mr. Wizzard after this one. You know TrizzleTrazzle but same as always no help.

The car is going to be a kick in the Butt as soon as I get a few more hrs on the track. I can already tell it will be as fast, but I will always miss the V.

Boy, all this time I have been worried that people would think I had a small unit because I drove the Cadi or a Porsche, (the sports car wanger analogy) how am I to deal with the thought they could be saying I have a peewee sized motor too.

Shit I'm gonna need therapy. Thanks, thanks a lot Dennis.

Now I know why I haven't been here in a while.

I'm out!
