Anybody know where the ignition control module is located on a 99 seville sts? I am thinking it is somewhere near the coil pack but cannot see anything there... I really need to find this thing and replace it, I just swapped a new engine into the car and recieved the code P1350 and P1375. After some reading I have heard that the icm may be the problem, and causes problems with the tach (which I have) and trouble starting (which I also have).
Anybody know where to find it??
I wouldn't condem the ICM for those two codes; more diagnosis is needed.
Your ICM is the module the coils are bolted to. And there are at least four low voltage chassis wire harness connectors for you to inspect and clean. Also, there is a chassis ground wire that is supposed to connect to one of the lower ICM mounting bolts.

The chassis ground is properly connected as you said. And the four plugs are also connected, I took them out and reconnected them today. I may try swapping out the crankshaft position sensor a and b as I heard they may have something to do with this.

icm is bolted to the rear bank on the valve cover
its what the coil packs for the spark plug wires are bolted to
