I heard about the updated v6 that they are putting in the cts. When? and how much more power?

Here's the 2003 spec's:

3.2L V6 DOHC with
220 hp at 6,000 rpm and
220 ft-lbs at 3,400 rpm

I think this is the new V6 engine. I seem to recall reading that it was introduced before the new engine was ready.

I'll see if I can locate the '02 specs.

CTS Engine upgrade for 2004 Announced

In GM's press release about its future engines, they let slip the output and displacement of the new v-6 for the CTS (and SRX)...

3.6l DOHC v-6 w/ variable valve timing on both intake and exhaust cams
255 hp
250 lb*ft (both are preliminary figures)

mmm that sounds delicious. When can i expect the 04 model to roll into dealer lots? When is the v-series coming out?
