I have been on backorder for almost 6 weeks now.

I purchased my car new 1 year and 2 days ago. Any idea when I should expect my free upgrade DVD to come in the mail? At what point should I contact GM and query as to where it is if it doesn't show up?

Call them now.
I called them about 6 weeks before my one year was up and asked them to send it early because I was going on vacation.

Four days later it was in my mailbox.

I haev a DTS so it was not on backorder... at least at that time. Last november.

My NAV DVD upgrade came in the mail today. I ordered it on 24 March. :thumbsup:

One difference is it comes on 2 DVDs vs. the single DVD that came with the car.

I had my car for 4 months ....got my disc(s) on tuesday.....didnt even know i was going to get them....glad i didnt buy the disc(s) like i was gonna do,,,,got to love free stuff

Tool almost 2 weeks but it showed up this week... Looks like they finally got back in stock. I have not opened it yet but look forward to the updated POI's.

Anyone know the number to call for the update?

I bought a certified STS about 2 months ago. Monday a package arrives for me and it is the new Nav disks. Cadillac said that it was a gift for buying a certified car. Nice gift... Thanks to the General...

Hello all

I just bought a 05 STS and it had ver 1.0 nav disc. Does anyone have a newer version laying around they do not use/need. Not trying to be cheep but intead get some use of somthing NOT being used. I guess I need to know what it the current version for our cars. I read a 2008 but is that ver 4, 5 6 or what? I see all kinds being for sale on eBay?

I registered about a month ago. The dealer says it will come when it comes. What a way to do business.

I contacted the gm navi center and i was told that mt dealer will handle the ordering of the new disc. so i called my saleman and contradicted that. he called gm and got a case number for me. i called the navi center and gave them the case number and i had my disc in four days

Thanks for the advice. I called the nav center and they said I could go ahead and get the current disk or wait until August and get the 2008 edition. I opted for the current, received an email saying it had been shipped.
