View Full Version : Made some upgrades over the winter

03-20-08, 12:56 PM
I have made a few changes over the winter months...
Eibach 2/3 drop
22 inch black/silver Liquid Metal Wheels
Custom hood and front bumper.
Over the next few months I will be adding a roll pan and updating the interrior.
Any comments???

Not a fan of the hood, the rest looks good, can't really see much of the wheels in the pixs. :)

Looks good:)

Looks good.

I like the front bumper.

You got satellite radio installed in that thing?

looks good, but what with the Sirius stuff all over?? They didn't send me a sticker when I subscribed:cool2:

Being that I work for Sirius I might be able to send you a sticker.
PM me with your ship to address...

What made you pick those wheels?

03-21-08, 08:46 AM
I like the black and silver on the black Escalade, plus the rims will last longer in the snowy MN winters.

Id settle for a new boombox ;) By the way, Im digging the wheels, not your average everyday Lade with rims.

i like the grill

Cannot PM you as not enough posts....have sirius in my Kenwood headunit on my 05 ESV. XM in my other vehicle as it came with it.

What is the name of that grill and where did you source it from.

LIKE the bumber...........where did U get it?
Not much of a fan of the hood.

Wheel's are interesting and look good.

Grill looks like a E&G Classic without the hood cap. I have it but elected to mount the crest and emblem without the black mounting plate as Laker Dynasty did.

Thanks all for the comments and options. The hood is from GOOD Hoods. Mine had hail damage and I liked the looks of this style better than the others on the market. The Bumper is from Race on USA, Platinum II. The grill is unknown...
I bought it locally from a guy that had no idea who the manufacturer was. The grill is pretty heavy duty, looks to me like its stainless steel, but it's not one of those cheep plastic things...

Just finished the rear roll pan install.
I think I am done with the exterior mods for now...

Actually I like the hood. Did you add an air induction kit, or just the hood?

04-24-08, 05:34 PM
I added the induction kit as well.
It makes some noise when I press the go fast pedel

I read that you went with 22's, but what size rubber did you go with? I always felt like 22's were too small but they look good on your lade.

Looks pretty good, the hood is not for me, but that is why you have have it and I do not haha.

Im diggin the front of that car, and the hood looks mean in black.

Not a fan of the chrome mirror caps or the wheels. And lose the chrome around the taillights, and black them out.

Did you get rid of the back up sensors with the roll pan bumper?

The Lac

Looks damn good! The hood vents line up perfectly with the grill!

I also love the roll pan!

I've got some 22" Liquid Metal rims too. They're black 6 spoke deep dish wheels with a polished lip! I love 'em, and yours are just as nice!

Great looking Lac! I also say to ditch the chrome tail light surrounds if your on the fence, but do what you want.
