If you look at the back rest of the drivers seat, you'll notice a strip of leather running down the center of it lengthwise. This is discoloring on my seat already. I at first thought that it was just dirty (these cashmere seats show the dirt easily!) and I got out my trusty leather cleaner. While the sides and bottom cleaned up easily, I cannot get the strip in the middle cleaned. I think that it's more than dirt, maybe some type of transfer stain from my suits or something. I'm kind of bummed, after only 2K miles for it to be like this.
Has anyone else experienced this, and any remedies? Again, I used a leather cleaner that I've had great luck with in the past, with no success.

I will check mine tomorrow and see if I have any problem. I haven't noticed any. Is the strip all one color or just spotting? Let's hope that it's not a common problem. Hopefully the dealer will stand behind if necessary.

The strip appears to be discoloring on the edges. I took a pic but I'm not sure how much you can tell from it...it looks like dirt but I've scrubbed it with leather cleaner with no luck.

I know you said you have the cashmere, but boy does that look like light titanium in the photo.
Yes, they look alike in photos. Are you able to make out the discoloring?

See if the stripe matches up with the hashmarks in your skivvies.

If the raised portions of that strip are what you are referring to, and it cannot be cleaned with a premium leather cleaner, what you might be seeing is the wearing of the surface colorant. This cannot be cleaned, but rather, must be replaced. Also, if anyone gets the bright idea of using Windex Multi-Purpose or some other household cleaning product other than leather cleaner, DON'T! (I know that the OP sasid he is using the right stuff so this doesn't apply to him). Using Windex will remove the colorant, right along with the soiling. I use Leatherique products, myself. Love the stuff.
You can either request that your dealer have the seat repaired (suggested since it's still under warranty) or for the long haul, buy yourself a can of Surflex colorant that matches your interior for future touch ups. It's great for refreshing the look of the stitching that becomes soiled, fixing scrapes, restoring worn areas of the seats, etc.

I had the same thing from clothes leaving dye behind. I just used a damp white rag, it came right off. I do this every week now so nothing will set in.

Weird thing is, I just noticed it....I thought it was just dirty...
