I have a black CTS4 and sprung a leak over the right rear door going into the right rear pillar during our recent rains. I have the ultraview sunroof, however ceiling appears dry. Wetness is in area just to the rear of the assist handle and follows the window/door curve in to the rear pillar. Anyone have thoughts or similar problem?

Get it to the dealer quick and don't worry about it. I know, that's easier said than done, but it's a perk of having a new car that you have to take advantage of.

Took it in late yesterday. Told them to keep it till problem is fixed. Thanks for reply.

Got a DTS--Nice, but still prefer my CTS. They are having a problem tracking the leak. Earliest I will get my car back is friday.

I'm sure your dealer will find the problem, hopefully soon. Just a guess: I had a similar problem with a '92 STS; it turned out that the right rear drain tube from the sunroof had come loose, allowing the water to drain into the rear C pillar.

I'm sure they will fix it. Hopefully permanently. More worried about what damage was done under the trim and will they replace anything water damaged that is not noticeable on the surface.
