Just brought my family down to Orlando from Washington DC for the Junior Nats (swimming).

My 2008 V6 AWD is quiet out of the back when cold, but after stopping for gas after 300 miles, turned ignition off - when restarting - WOW - pebbles in a can! LOUD! This process was repeated over the 850 mile ride down.

I checked the pipes while the car is hot - they are visibly moving around, but much less so when the car is cold. And yes, my SRX has under 2K on the odometer.

I will take it back to the dealer when I return, but thoughts and ideas are welcome.

We have the exhaust rattle on our 06 SRX V6 12,500 miles. The noise comes and goes and when I hold the right exhaust pipe, the noice stops. Dealer is going to check next Monday for a loose exhaust hanger.
