You have to have the Nav to do this. Everybody has a favorite song of their favorite group that kicks butt from the first note. I'm sure that by now you have a concert dvd of that song. I noticed that when you put a dvd in and play whatever is on it and then change to another source, like fm or xm, then go back to dvd, it plays right where you left it (hope this works after I turn the car off and come back). So you can have the dvd queued to this song. Then, first they see your car, they are blown away by the incredible styling. Then they get in and you start it and the stack rises (very erotic). The GM logo movie plays. They go unbelievable! THEN, you hit the dvd button and the concert pops on the screen with the heavy opening notes of the song in 5.1 surround sound (or maybe even better DTS surround sound). They go nuts!! I know cause I've done it a few times. I played David Gilmour's "A Night to Remember" and play "Comfortably Numb". Then just sit there for a minute for it all to soak in (course when you shift from park you lose the video, but not the audio). Blows away any other cars' total experience! :cool2:

A fine choice, though Pink Floyd playing it would be even better (especially if it were from the Roger Waters era - where the hell is the Wall Live DVD?).

That guitar solo never fails to send chills down my spine.

I dont understand Pink Floyd. I'd pick Kashmir by L.Z.

The Beatles "Revolution" off the LOVE 5.1 DVD-A.

It totally kicks. The louder it gets, the better it sounds.

I prefer a more subtle intro. Highway Star by Deep Purple.

Beatles love is probably the best thing to play in surround since jurassic park.

Absolutely agree with the song choice but prefer the video from the Pink Floyd - Pulse - Live DVD. Incredible. Check it out.

I love Pink Floyd!

Does that DVD come 5.1? Might make a great
christening for my new CTS!

Yes (http://www.pinkfloyd.co.uk/pulse/), apparently it is a 5.1 mix.

Anyone using a DVD-A with tracks released in the last decade?

I think this is more of a "classic rock" crowd.
see corresponding thread "who is old enough to drive a CTS"

Sure, Steely Dan's Two Against Nature; Donald F-a-gen's trilogy of albums (be prepared for some real bass mojo with Morph The Cat!!!). It's not in the last 10 years, but I'm guessing that Roy Orbison's Black & White Night is going to sound incredible in the CTS, too.

Tip of the iceburg.
