I know it has been covered many times.........
i have a couple question i would like a DIRECT answer.
can i access the sending unit from my trunk or do i have to drop the tank in my 2000 ELDORADO.

second. What is the actual part the fails and where can i buy it. I tired rockauto and they have a sending unit listed. but it is listed as 4 bucks.... something wrong there.

ALSO any other information like how to do it would be good like tips and such.

I have attached the instructions on replacing the fuel pump/sender unit. Sorry but you do have to drop the tank to do this. You can get just the fuel level sensor but you might as well pay a little extra money and replace the whole assembly. The part you need is GM# 25338963 the list price is 504.19 gmpartsdirect.com has it for $262.18
