my rearview & drivers side mirror is always dimming during the day, its crazy, whats even crazier in all the years I have had the car I don't ever recall seeing the drivers side mirror dim, I did not even know it was an option, the pass mirror never did it, & still doesn't.

the sight on the rearview mirror is clean & i shut the mirrors off & turned them back on. I'm not complaining, as it doesn't bother me, I was wondering what caused it, I havent dissconnected the battery in a long time, everything else works fine, starts fine, seems to be running well.

The passenger side mirror isn't part of the system only the drivers side and inside mirrors. The system works by comparing light hitting a sensor in the front of the mirroe through the windshield with light hitting a sensor at the rear of the mirror through the back window. Anything that upsets either light path such as tint, decals, crap hanging off the mirror, dirt, crap on the rear shelf all could have an effect.

Hmmmm lets see, sadly my windows are NOT tinted, I never got around to doing it, the only thing "hanging" off my window as of late is the rainsensor, the adeshive wore out, but that hangs off the back of the mirror in betwee the winshield & mirror.

Thats probably the cause. When I install this type of mirror, I put my hand on the rear of the mirror to block the light and shine a flashlight at the mirror to cause it to dim. So if the rain sensor is dangling, reglue it!

Exactly, It's the rainsense module causing the problem.
