My entire gauge cluster stopped working a few days ago, unfortunately the truck is just out of warrenty I've ordered a new cluster from usspeedo.com and am having them program the current mileage, but does anyone know if a new unit is plug/play or will the dealer have to match the new cluster with the Tech II tool for it to function?
I've heard some say yes, others say it will need no programming. Thanks for the help!
Welcome to the Forum? Your truck is out of warranty? Do you have over 50k miles? I know the 03's were plug and play, have not heard of anyone replacing one yet.
I am confused the 06' and 07' were nothing alike, but that company offers kits the fit 06' & 07', they look like the 06' dashes from their pixs? Your truck is an 07?

yes, truck is an 07 just over 50,000.
All those kits pictured look like they are for 06's althogh they say for 06'-07', you may want to ask Bill aka ewill3rd if any programming is needed

for 07/08 plug and play, except if not programmed, the message indator will say on start up and say not programmed. but it will work and record miles
