i test drove a few CTS back in Dec, one of the CTS's side mirrors would automatically adjust downward to let you see more on the lower two sides whenever you shift to R.. how to set that up?

someone might asked this before.. just wanna know do your cTS's rear windows open all the way down like the front windows

when i tried to play a DVD movie last night on accessories mode, the head light wouldnt turn off (even i switch to off), so I think that it is the part of the light that doesnt control but the turn off? when i dont play DVD.. it wont behave like that

Yes, you can program your side mirror(s) to assist with parking; it's in the Owner's manual, and simple to do.

Yes, the rear windows ALMOST completely go all the way down, much more so than my 05 STS.

Not sure about the headlight comment.

Here is how to setup the Park Tilt Feature of the mirrors:

Entering the Feature Settings Menu
Turn the ignition on.
To avoid excessive drain on the battery, it is recommended that the headlamps are turned off.

Press the customization button to enter the feature settings menu.

Park Tilt Mirrors
If your vehicle has this feature, it allows you to select whether or not the outside mirror(s) will automatically tilt down when the vehicle is shifted into REVERSE (R). See Park Tilt Mirrors for more information.

Press the customization button until Park Tilt Mirrors appears on the DIC display. Press the set/reset button once to access the settings for this feature. Then press the menu up/down button to scroll through the following settings:

Off (default): Neither outside mirror will be tilted down when the vehicle is shifted into REVERSE (R).

Driver Mirror: The driver's outside mirror will be tilted down when the vehicle is shifted into REVERSE (R).

Passenger Mirror: The passenger's outside mirror will be tilted down when the vehicle is shifted into REVERSE (R).

Both Mirrors: The driver's and passenger's outside mirrors will be tilted down when the vehicle is shifted into REVERSE (R).

No Change: No change will be made to this feature. The current setting will remain.


To select a setting, press the set/reset button while the desired setting is displayed on the DIC.



As for the rear windows no they do not go down completely, they leave about 1/2 inch exposed, due to the shape of the door/fender well there is no way for the window to go completely down.

I agree, but from the original post he may not be an owner yet and was asking questions after he had test drove one a couple months ago. He doesn't have a manual I assume.
