Since i've only had my car for a month, i havn't gotten my oil change yet.
My question is does Cadillac like Benz or BMW give you schedual oil change for free at like 5000 miles and 20000 miles or no. If no what do you guys recomend i should put in it, i mean what kind of oil?
Any particual places i should take it like PEPBOYS or Jiffy's???

Cadillac does not free on any vehicle except the XLR.
If you normally take your cars to Jiffy Lube, Pep Boys, etc. then this one is no different.

I got a complimentary first service coupon with my STS from Cadillac but it was worse than the worst service than I ever got at Jiffy-Lube. I got no wash, no vacuum, and they didn't even clean the windows. I'll never have service done at the dealer again unless I have no other option.

YOu are also in Alaska and dealers are far and few... In NJ I get exceptional service and my car always comes out clean and if they are not able to they give me a coupon for a local car wash for a full service wash. They are very high into their surveys here so they do everything they can to satisfy you.

If I rate my dealership "completely satisfied" when GM send me a survey, they send me a letter for a free oil change. Looks like I will never pay for an oil change! (They do deserve the rating).
If I give them the survey after I fill it out and before I send it, they also fill my gas tank.

I live in NJ and have never been offered a car wash or coupon at 3 different dealers (Crown, Clinton, or Kemper). Loaner cars are reluctantly offered if at all. I'm always jealous when I read about guys getting to try out a new CTS or even a DTS when their STS is in the shop.

I am amazed... I normally go to Gold Coast in NJ and they have Enterprise Rental on site and I always get a cadillac loaner of equal or greater value. They do not have a wash on site buy they always give you a coupon for a free wash at a local wash. I would never think that some dealers would be so different than others. I guess thats why they have all there awards for excellent service on display.. Maybe some dealers dont care but I have been lucky enough to not come accross any of those dealers.
