What follows is a copy of a response I gave to another somewhat unrelated thread, but I’m interested what others who like to keep their SRX detailed to the max use:

Zaino, Zaino, Zaino....simply the best polish system I found this side of spending about $1000 for a complete Swissvax System with their $579 Mystery wax.
With Zaino, I recommend the following products:

Z7 Car Wash
Z18 Clay Bar (easy to do and great for new car)
Z2 Show Car Polish
Zfx Accelerator
Z6 & or Z8 Gloss Enhancers
Z16 Perfect Tire Gloss (the best tire dressing ever!)

Link to Zaino:
http://www.zainostore.com/

Those items will cost you about $84 and are well worth it. Once you get through the Clay Bar and the Z2 polish stages, you just keep adding to the unbelievable wet look with the Z6 or Z8 Gloss Enhancers. Last summer I put about 40 coats alternating between Z6 & Z8 and about 5 coats of Z2 Polish spread out during the summer. The Z6 & Z8 are a spray product and it only takes me about 15 minutes to do the SRX. BTW, my neighbors think I’m a little nuts….but I have always kept my vehicles better than showroom.

I use other Zaino products as well, their ZCS Clear Seal, Z9 Leather Cleaner, Z10 Leather Treatment, Z12 Glass Polish and Z5 Fine Scratch Polish. If anyone needs help with the Zaino system, send me a note.

If you really want to see a complete over the top detail job on an Audi R8 using Swissvax and other very high priced and extreme products, check out this thread….

Zaino does work well, been using it for about 12 years now, and selling it for 10 years. The best thing is how long it lasts.

I started drinking the Zaino kool-aid when I bought a black vette about six years ago. I'm about to do my annual order for spring, but need to figure out their new products. BTW, I like kool-aid.

Try the Z-CS Clear Seal, I tested it for two years before it was sold to the public and for a year since the release, still amazed how fast it is and no buffing. :)

I'm a Zaino zealot myself. My previous 2 black cars love the stuff. We'll see how it woks on the Thunder Gray Chromaflair! Z-CS looks incredible! Might just have to order some of that up this year.

Anyone have an idea as to why this product can't be routinely purchased and shipped to a NJ residence? NJ people own Caddy's too! First I've ever seen a product restricted to the "47" contiguous United States. I mean com'on Zaino, what gives?

I think the company has carved out certain regions to be served by independent distributors, like hcvone. IIRC, you can contact the company and get names of distributors in your area. Other parts of the country are served by the web store.

Because many years ago we entered into a license agreement with Zaino for the NJ area, we have been the distributor for PA & NJ for over 10 years, but we saw the internet was coming and wanted some protection for the future of our business, that is what gives. :)

OK, 1) I live in NJ so, where/who do I order from 2) I need help selecting products I actually need.

It sounds like the kits have a lot of different products that do the same thing. Am I wrong?

What should I order. Z-CS sounds good!

Thanks,
John

John, it depends on what you are looking for and how you detail your car, you could go with a one step product like Z-AIO, it's our all in one cleaner wax, you could add Z-CS to that for even better results, if you have a dark color you could add Z-5 to those products. You could also get a kit like the Z-Kit I, that has two waxes Z-2 and Z-5, again you really only need Z-5 if you have a dark color to keep the light scratches and light swirls under control, the kit also has Z-6 which is our detail spray, if you do not use a detail spray now you may not want the kit, the kit also contains Z-7 Car Wash, if you wash your own car you will want this, the kit also has Z-18 Clay Bar, every car clay will help, but if you are going to use a cleaner wax product like our Z-AIO you probably will not need to clay, and last the Kit has ZFX in it, that is added to our polishes (Z-2 & Z-5) for fast drying and if you are doing multi coats, confused yet? The kits really do not have the same products, they all have different uses, as I said it all depends on how you take care of your car and what you are looking to do. E-Mail us at carl@hcvind.com and we will send you our ordering info. You can read more about these product on our web site at www.hcvind.com , thanks
