Im looking for a Kars Kit. Any chances anyone has one for sale? Or could direct me on the right path. I believe Doug, no longer makes the kits.

Maybe someone who just got a rear replacement (Madman, or c3) has one lying around.

Thanks

I dont believe Aluminum will be strong enough, although my knowledge in this field is nonextistant.

Aluminum could work. The biggest problem would be welding the aluminum cradle support to the frame. Not everyone knows how to/owns a tig welder!

I think bolts are used in pre-existing holes on V's to support the kit in place

the Kars kit was welded in. The BMR kit is a bolt in.

'05 + v's has nuts welded in at the factory, which the KARS caqn bolt to. It is defintaly recommended that you weld in the support plate though, as that nut is just waiting to rip off the thin sheet metal there.
