Hi Guys, Nice forum, I have a 2006 STS and am having a problem with the seat belt chimes. For the first 18 months I have owned this vehicle the reminder chime went off every few minutes if you did not buckle up. It stopped doing it last month and I took it to the dealership for repair. The Dealership now tells me it never did have a "reminder" chime and the owners manual was a misprint ! Has anyone had a similar experience. I'm a bit annoyed at the evasive position the dealership has taken.

Mine has the reminder chime and it works as you describe. Your dealer is full of it.

Agreed ... it has a reminder chime.
My Cadillac has the reminder chime.
Even my Chevy work van has the reminder chime.

Your dealer needs to FIX IT.

Agreed. Dang thing goes on forever if you or the right seat passenger forgets. However, it is the best safety reminder, so use your seat belt.
