So on my way home i decided to do a top speed run in the caddy. as soon as the gov kicks in the car stops like its supposed to. then at the stop light I accelerated slowly and my buddy behind me said a large amount of black smoke came out of the exhaust. could this be an oil leak??? Please help me!! Thanks everyone :).

Black smoke is unburned fuel. Blue smoke is oil. White/steam is coolant. It's entirely possible that you have a leaky fuel injector or fuel pressure regulator which gave the rich acceleretion indication. The limiter should limit speed (for you) to 112, and sort of keep it there. You'll notice that the engine "bumps" the 112 mark.
Pull the vacuum line off the top of the FPR and look/sniff for raw gas, which is an indicator of a cracked diaphragm. Cheap, easy fix. A leaky injector will eventually set a code, but you'll have to figure out which bank, which injector. (not a common problem...).
The whole thing may be answered by "How often do you run the engine to max RPM?" If possible, try the run again, under safe conditions. You might not see the smoke again.........these engines love to RUN.
(With no cat, it's sort of like a coast-down with the key off: excess fuel (I know, it's FI, but the principle still holds...).
