I was reading that I need to move a fuse to get my cigarette lighters to kill power after 10 minutes of being off. I looked under the hood at the fuse box but was unsure of what fuse/module it was and if I should go one left or right. I am guessing it is the large on marked "Assy" but I am unsure. This is an 02 Seville.

Yes, actually there are TWO fuses you need to move (One controls the console power outlet and the other control s the console rear outlet I believe). If you are on the passenger side of the car, facing the fuse box in front of you, they are the top two fuses in the box. They are pretty easy to Identify as they have ONE open fuse connector on either side of them. If you move the fuses over so that they are both on the left of the three fuse openings, you have a 10 minute shut off, if you move them to the right, your power jacks stay on all the time. (This may be reversed, I don't remember which way is always on and which way is alway on a 10 minute shut off) BUT, if you are on a no shut off condition, reverse the order that these fuses are in right now.

Wait....

So by moving a fuse position I can convert my rear lighter socket to constant power regardless of ignition position? Where are these fuses? In the underhood fuse box, or in the rear fuse box under the seat??

I'd love to convert my rear lighter socket to constant power.... That way I could leave my bluetooth earpiece charging when I'm at work....

Anyone have any pics or additional info?

Thanks in advance,

George
