I am trying to decide what sub setup to go with. I am eiether gana go with two 12 inch JL W6's or three 10 inch JL W6"s. I am just not sure which to go with. I am looking more for sound quality not knock the pictures off the wall bass. i want nice clean bass. I listen to mainly hip hop music. whichever set up i go with they will be run with a Cadence 1200 watt amp. It is a mono class d amp rated at 650 rms and 1200 peak at 1 ohm. Anynadvice would be greatly appreciated. thnx.

12's would be better, that's just my opinion, and that amp isn't going to do much for them...they need REAL firepower

yeah with your amp, stick with 12's. you would need at least 2000 watts RMS to run 3 10w6's.

if you want good subs with kickass sound quality, look at Fi Audio. in my opinion some of the best woofers on the market, great mix of SPL and SQL, i have always been a huge JL fan since before i could drive, but my next set of woofers WILL be Fi's, i am a converted man lol. and SPL/SQL to price is much better than JL.

if you say you dont want a lot of bass w6s are what you dont want and that amp is just tickling your subs you need more power:)
