ok guys i want some help...my lease is up on my 05 srx....i fell in love today with a 08 srx diamond white, black leather, loaded to max.....20" rims, navi, etc.....all the options!,,what do you guys thin of the diamond white, and what about the 20" rim package>...are the tires good in the snow?...performance?...any body have these packages fil me in!

Mine is a 07, and sunset blue, but like the 08 - it is loaded. V8, Full sport package with 20" wheels, DVD, Nav, Ultraview plus (moonroof over 3rd seat is the "plus" part) Ebony(black) leather, wood on the steering wheel and shifter. Mine is also a AWD and trailer tow package. OK, now the differences in the 08 to the 07. You have a better remote (maybe even remote start), you may have a heated steering wheel, and if memory serves me right - the 08's had a posi trac/limited slip rear differential (in the 07's, both front and rear diffs are open in the AWD units). The only option you cannot have - and neither can I - is the MRC - it is NOT a option if you have the sport package with 20" wheels. The lack of MRC was very troublesome for me - and I almost passed on this 07 to try and find one with MRC - but no sport package. I now have almost 15000 miles on it. I do NOT regret the lack of MRC at all. The ride with the 20" wheels was harsh, but once I got to about 10000 miles the suspension is perfect in my opinion. I keep the tires within 1 pound of the recommededs at cold, and that helps alot, they were way over inflated off the showroom floor. My neighbor's SRX doesn't have the sport package - but does have diamond white - it is gorgeous. I live in Minnesota and was concerned with the 20" tires. Well thru the first winter now - and I can say they were surprisingly very good if not excellent. I am not a Goodyear fan, but I am happy with these all season tires for grip, low road noise, and good handling Good luck - and have fun.

I totally agree with 73Thumper comments. My SRX (some config - fully loaded, plus corsa exhaust) is black with grey interior. The 20" rims and the sports package are definitely awesome. I too was concerned giving up MRC but no regrets after driving for 4 weeks now.
My 07 CTS has black interior. I wouldn't go for black again. the grey in the SRX is perfect in my opinion.

one more thing I forgot to add. The sports package with 20" rims looks so much better in real than in the pictures and brochures. I was totally stunned the first time I saw one up close.

I have the same car except with the cashmere interior. I originally thought I wanted a black one but the white one with the sport package just stands out in a crowd. The nav works great and I'm thrilled with the handling. We don't get much snow here so I can't comment but from what I know of the awd system, it's great.

I have d white Escalade's and SRX, easy to keep clean and looks great when the sun hits it, our 08' SRX is silver and I really like the look of the 20's on it. :)

I didn't choose black for the guts - mine was a "on the lot car". I would have preferred a lighter color - but it is still very sharp. I also have a Corsa exhaust system, I like the polished tips from Caddy better, but I like the "noise" from the Corsa. I will post a sound clip in the next month after it warms up a bit. It is not for most Caddy lover's - but I am more of a fan of hearing a nice V8 - and the Corsa does that well...

red, yellow, black or white.........get the SRX!

I never thought I would own a white car, but it is quite easy to keep clean.
I wasn't crazy about the color at the time, but love it now.
White Diamond has a mysterious glow to it as well.
It will be my choice for my next SRX. 2009 sport.
