1. Those aren't bikers, they are "cyclists", I know some guys that would get totally irritated if you called them bikers.

2. They aren't crazy, they are stupid, I watched it without audio so maybe I missed the "explanation", looks like some kind of rat race. To me it looks more like a good way of getting hospitalized and another reason I can't stand New York! :lol:
