Life is beautiful is AWESOME.

I'm listening to The Girl With Golden Eyes right now.

I've not heard anything else by them...but I think I like 'em.

Any history on them? Anyone know anything about them? Appears to be Nikki Sixx's band...which makes sense with the heroin in girl with golden eyes...

Turns out it IS Nikki Sixx...and its a book he wrote last year based on a years worth of diaries that he found and had forgotten about a few years ago. It's about a year of his heroin addiction back in 86-87.

local rock station plays the crap out of "life is beautiful" It was good the first 20 times they played it today, but after 21 it starts to get old hehe

Yeah, this is Nikki Sixx's newest band away from Motley Crue. Sixx also played with the Brides of Destruction. BoD featured Tracii Guns (formerly of L.A.Guns) and former bandmate John Corabi (who sang lead on the self titled Crue Album after Neil's split from the band.) I know... too much info. Sorry.

I agree Life is Beautiful is overplayed...but have any of you read the history BEHIND the book and the album!?
